Two-day Spoken English and Computer Basics Training Camp for VIII students of Chellappampalayam Panchayat Union Middle School, Arasur.
Twenty students from Standard VIII of Panchayat Union Middle School, Chellappampalayam, Arasur, visited the JSB campus on Aug 7 & 14, 2011, as part of a Two-day camp, to get trained in Spoken English and Basics in Computer Application. The volunteers of the 2012 Batch used traditional methods such as using pictures to train them in Spoken English, as well as used audio-visual means like movie clips, to inculcate in the students, the need to speak the language with confidence and self-assurance. In the case of training the students in Computer Basics, the students were exposed to MS Office tools, and were taught educational computer games.
At the end of the two-day camp, every school student was given a Certificate of Appreciation and a Dictionary.
