Dr. P. Raghuram, Professor and Area Chair – Supply Chain Management and Operations, is a Doctorate in Supply Chain Responsiveness from Amrita School of Engineering, Coimbatore. He also holds an M.E. in Production Engineering from PSG College of Technology and a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Coimbatore Institute of Technology.

He has over 33 years of experience across academia, research, industry, project management, and academic leadership. Prior to joining Jansons School of Business, he served at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore, for over two decades, teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses and guiding research and industry-linked student projects. He has also contributed to digital transformation initiatives at the Maryland Health Benefit Exchange, USA, in areas such as AI-enabled systems, cloud infrastructure modernization, enterprise automation, DevOps operations, and workflow automation.

His academic and research interests are in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain Risk and Responsiveness, Inventory Analytics, Warehouse Optimization, Lean Management, Scheduling, Manufacturing Analytics, AI-enabled Decision Systems, and MSME-focused business transformation.

He has published 27 peer-reviewed Scopus-indexed journal papers and 20 conference papers, with an h-index of 10, i10-index of 12, and over 400 citations. His research integrates theoretical modeling with real-world industry applications, particularly for manufacturing MSMEs. He has guided several industry-linked projects in supply chain responsiveness, risk management, inventory management, scheduling, warehouse analytics, lean implementation, process improvement, plant layout, and manufacturing systems.

At Jansons School of Business, his focus is on strengthening the Supply Chain Management and Operations area through curriculum modernization, experiential learning, applied research, industry collaboration, student mentoring, alumni engagement, and employability-focused initiatives.

He is also the Founder and CEO of ShivAI Supply Chain Solutions and the author of the book Unleash Your Exergy: 180-Day Human Exergy Potential Challenge.
