Businesses around the world started investing significantly in implementing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion programmes. It is no more a choice but a necessity for organizations to consciously build a culture that has embraced DEI. With the present talent pool with significant social awareness and responsibility in the rapidly evolving business climate, employers have a challenge as well as opportunity to rethink and adapt talent and business outlook such that it caters to the increasingly diverse corporate landscape.

To understand where the global sphere of people and work stand in their journey to building a diverse, inclusive and equitable ecosystem, Jansons School of Business has convened a HR Conclave for various stakeholders to meet, network and learn from leaders in this emerging field.

The event started with a key note address by Mr. Raj Raghavan, Chief Human Resource Officer of CoreStack, Chennai focussing on the topic DEI across industries – Present and Future

There was a panel discussion with theme Challenges and opportunities in building diverse talent pipelines/ sustainable DEI. Ms. Jyothsna Hirode, Senior Consultant, Parity Consulting, Bengaluru, Mr. Sanjay Shende, Director –HR , Flipkart, Bengaluru and Ms. Anitha Jayapal, Head-HR , L&T EduTech, Chennai were the Panellists and Prof. Suriyaprakash C, Professor and Area Chair (OB &HR ), JSB has moderated the Discussion.

There were two workshops in the afternoon session.

Ms. Kanaka Ravi, Head-HR, Diversity and Inclusion- MEA, Tata Consultancy Services, Chennai delivered a session on DEI – appreciation and application for enriching life experience.

Ms. Shruthi Ramprasad had presented a session on Shape an inclusive and equitable culture- Role of L&D

There was enthusiastic participation and feedback from the participants.
