Jansons School of Business (Autonomous), Coimbatore conducted its Second Commencement Ceremony on 30^th April 2018 at its campus for the second batch of students since the institution attained autonomy status.

The Chief Guest, Shri Vidyashankar Krishnan, Vice-Chairman & Managing Director, MM Forgings Limited, delivered the Commencement Ceremony address.

While addressing the MBA graduates of 2018 batch, he said that there is no magic formula that will lead us to success in life. Persistent efforts and God’s grace alone will bring success in all endeavours of us. Achieving excellence in whatever we do needs to be construed as success.  He told the graduates that we all have a “Circle of Concern” and a “Circle of Influence”.  As corporate executives if they do justice in all their activities connected to their circle of influence, then that will automatically result in positive impact in their circle of concern.  He also advised the students to strive for transforming themselves into a Leader from being a Manager, at the earliest.

Shri Vidyashankar Krishnan asked the students to remain financially disciplined both in personal and corporate life. Irrespective of the fact whether the expenditure incurred is essential or luxurious they must try to understand the cost involved thoroughly. He also advised the graduates to equip themselves with the essential basic mathematical skills to make quick approximations.

Further, he suggested to the young managers to groom good players for their team because in this competitive world very little achievements can be made as an individual. The support and involvement of an efficient and energetic team is needed to reach great heights, he added.

He advised the students to continue the habit of reading and learning throughout their career which will act as a deterrent force against stagnation. He also reiterated the need for physical fitness and, while concluding, he wished them to have a powerful life journey with great health and enjoyment.

The programme was presided over by Rtn. MPHF.T.S.Natarajan, Chairman, Jansons Foundation.  Mr. T N Thirukumar, Vice Chairman, Jansons Foundation, and Mr.S.Mohan, Chief Executive Officer, Jansons Institutions, graced the occasion.
