Jansons School of Business (Autonomous), Coimbatore celebrated its First Commencement Ceremony on 25^th November 2017 at its campus for the first autonomous batch students.

The Chief Guest, Shri Dr.A Velumani, Promoter, Managing Director and CEO of Thyrocare Technologies Limited, delivered the Commencement Ceremony address.

While addressing the MBA graduates of 2017 batch, he recalled his entrepreneurial journey which he started with an initial investment of Rs. 2 lakhs and taking it forward to the current level of Rs. 3,300 crore. He told them to move to large cities to understand businesses and identify business opportunities. He also advised to the graduates to remain relentlessly courageous in all their efforts.  Further, he suggested to the young graduates to remain in employment for about 10 years and thereafter venture into business as an entrepreneur to reach the position of offering employment to hundreds and thousands of people.

Dr.A.Velumani asked the students to venture into the areas which are very new and not familiar to them so that they can gain expertise in that. It is more important to be happy than to be rich, he added. He advised the students to give two-thirds of their income to their parents, even if the parents are rich so that they can get trained in living a frugal life which is very important for achieving success in personal and entrepreneurial career. While concluding he wished them to have a powerful life journey.

The programme was presided over by Rtn. MPHF.T.S.Natarajan, Chairman, Jansons School of Business.  Mr. T N Thirukumar, Vice Chairman, Jansons School of Business, Coimbatore and Mr.S.Mohan, Chief Executive Officer, Jansons Institutions graced the occasion.
