This year’s Global Business Exposure Tour was organized during April 9^th to 12^th, 2017. Dubai was the chosen place of visit. 61 students from the 2017 and 2018 batches were part of the tour. They were accompanied by Prof C Nateson and Mrs Selvi.

The students visited The Dubai Mall, the famous Burj Kalifa, Za'abeel Palace, Dubai Museum and the Dubai Miracle Garden, among others. Two most important aspects of the tour were:  a. understanding the business atmosphere in Dubai Malls – how are the stores designed, what are the brands that are sold, and what do tourists buy; b. an industrial visit to Al Rawabi (Dairy Company), wherein the students were allowed to explore every division inside the production unit. Interactive sessions with production and marketing executives of the company helped the students appreciate the nuances of a real global business and its environment.
