He has a rare blend of Industry, Consulting and Teaching experience spanning 33 years. Started his professional career as Management Trainee – Technical at Brooke Bond (I) Ltd. and he has also worked for Gujarat Narmada Auto Ltd. and Carborundum Universal Ltd. in Product Engineering and Marketing functions in different executive positions for about 4 years. He also had a brief stint as Management Consultant at Besant Raj Consultants (P) Ltd., before taking up academic career. He has a total teaching experience of 29 years at the MBA level at reputed institutions viz. SOM, Pondicherry University, PSG Institute of Management and GRD Institute of Management. His teaching interests include Marketing Management, various electives under Marketing and International Business. He has taught in many In-company Training Programmes and short-term Executive Development Programmes. He has also completed 4 sponsored and funded projects as Co-Principal Investigator – 2 of them for Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Ltd. and 2 for Tata Energy Research Institute. He has passed UGC Test for Eligibility for Lecturership in Management in 1991.
