The ALFA (the Finance Club at JSB) a students driven initiative aims to improve the understanding of finance world by creating an interface between the student community and the financial world; to help develop practical knowledge and apply it in the markets.
We accomplish our objectives by
Enhancing Corporate Relations by promoting interactions, dialogues and exchanging information with corporate communities with the aim of creating superior access to career opportunities.
Organizing value added lectures to supplement classroom teaching for better understanding of concepts and their application.
Quizzes and debates for conceptual understandings
Publishing “Yield Review”, a quarterly news letter containing the research reports of students on various topics.
Conducting simulation and stock games to develop practical knowledge.
Every year students come up with pre and post budget analysis sessions providing a forum for discussion.
Arranging live projects for students.
Conducting IPO road shows for recognizing new initiatives.
