Mr. K. Ramamurthy, Business Head - M&R Business, EWAC Alloys Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of L&T, Mumbai, spoke on the topic " Trends and practices in Sales and Marketing - B2C" at Padmam Auditorium on Feb 10, 2012. A video clipping about L&T was screened for 10 minutes. This was followed by his lecture, in which he emphasized about the real need of a customer in a B 2 C market . His discussion centered on analyzing the mindset of the consumers and their buying behavior. He explained the factors that normally influence the consumers and the selling techniques involved in convincing them. He was emphatic about creating a win-win situation between marketers and customers, where customers always take the centre stage in the company’s scheme of things. His session lasted for 90 minutes, and it was very interactive.
