Profile

He has a rare blend of Industry, Consulting and Teaching experience spanning 18 years. Started his professional career as Management Trainee – Technical at Brooke Bond (I) Ltd. and he has also worked for Gujarat Narmada Auto Ltd. and Carborundum Universal Ltd. in Product Engineering and Marketing functions in different executive positions for about 4 years. He also had a brief stint as Management Consultant at Besant Raj Consultants (P) Ltd. before taking up academic career. He has a total teaching experience of 14 years at the MBA level at reputed institutions viz. SOM, Pondicherry University, PSG Institute of Management and GRD Institute of Management. He has taught at many Incompany Training Programmes and short term Executive Development Programmes. So far, he has done 4 sponsored and funded projects as Co-Principal Investigator – 2 of them for Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Ltd. and 2 for Tata Energy Research Institute.

Research interests are in Marketing and International Business area Pursuing Ph. D., in Marketing

A Comprehensive Study on Socio-Economic and Environmental Implications of Wind Energy Generation in Coimbatore, Tirunelveli and Kanyakumari Districts of Tamil Nadu - paper presented and published in the proceedings of the International Conference on New Millennium Alternative Energy Solutions for Sustainable Development, organized by Solar Energy Society of India, New Delhi & School of Energy, PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore.
