The process
Once you have made your initial enquiry, we'll normally arrange a meeting between yourselves and the director of the Centre for Business Research. Depending on how much you've already defined the brief, we may also bring along the academic member of staff who would lead the project team. This first meeting is a chance to explore how we can help you and for you to determine the scope of the project, defining the brief to match your timescales and budget.

You may find that this meeting raises more questions and ideas, so you need to redefine the project brief after speaking to your colleagues.

Once you're happy with what you're looking for from the project, we'll produce a formal proposal. This will include details on the proposed methodology, timescales, team member biographies, examples of past experience and costs.
  • Team members can include any of our faculty, doctoral students, postgraduate students on our MBA programme and our wider network of associates
  • Our centre manager co-ordinates and monitors all projects closely to ensure that quality standards are maintained and project timescales are managed effectively
  • All project teams have at least one senior academic member of staff ensuring that deliverables are to the high standards associated with Jansons School of Business.
As soon as you've approved our proposal then we'll be ready to begin work.
