Selection Process

The MBA Programme is multi-disciplinary in nature. Hence the admission to this programme is open to degree holders in any discipline. There is no mandatory requirement as far as the minimum mark in degree is concerned. This means candidates who possess a degree in any discipline (without regard to the percentage of marks secured) can apply for admission into MBA Programme of JSB. However the degree possessed by the applicant should have been conferred by an approved institution. The list of approved institutions is available with University Grants Commission.

Admission is based on the merit order of aggregate score obtained by applicants in Management Aptitude Test (MAT), Group Discussion, and Interview.

Candidates desirous of joining the JSB family should have a valid Management Aptitude Test (MAT) score. MAT is conducted four times in a year by All India Management Association. The candidates short-listed from MAT score will be called for Group Discussion and Interview during the end of March. Valid scores of CAT, XAT, or ATMA are also considered for short-listing of candidates for invitation to Group Discussion and Interview. Group Discussion and Interview will be intimated to the short-listed candidates by post.

Last date for submitting the filled in application form is on or before 15th March 2010.
